Wish Big

Celestina  is one of my most recent purchases from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, I've stamped her and coloured her with Copic markers, purple is my favourite colour so that's what I chose for her gown. I'm quite happy with my colouring especially her hair. I've fussy cut Celestina  out and popped her up with foam dots. I've placed her on a die cut silver glitter star and then put her and the star on some starry paper from Cre8tive. I've finished off by placing a star shaped gem in her hand, and by adding a silver thread with a sentiment stamped in purple saying Wish Big. I guess you could say this is a CAS card, but I didn't want to overdo things seeing the background paper is so busy.

Say Cheesecake

Art Impressions have a Best Friends Challenge, so I've used one of their Girlfriends stamps. The girls are clicking away on their camera creating memories. I thought it would be fun to use a postcard paper that I got as a gift with a papercraft magazine as the backdrop. I've added some fun sentiments from Kaisers collectables and die cut some glittery stars to symbolise the camera flashing. I've stamped the girls twice and coloured them with Copic markers and popped them up with foam dots, I love dimension in my projects :D

Happy Bird Day Wine Tag

This week Paper Smooches have a Picture Perfect challenge, so I've done something a bit different and made a wine bottle tag, in the shape of a bunting flag.  The Paper Smooches stamp sets I've used are Birthday Buddies and Off The Charts. I've started with a red card stock base and the matted that with some sky and clouds paper from Kaisers Save the Date paper pad. I've made a vellum speech bubble and stamped Happy Bird Day on it. I've stamped the bird from Birthday Buddies coloured him with Copic markers and popped him up with foam dots. I made the bunting by stamping a couple of the shapes from Off the Charts in different coloured ink then I cut each piece out and stuck them onto my project with tiny foam dots. I've punched a circle so that the tag will fit over the neck of a bottle.

Hoppy Easter

Simon Says Stamp has a Happy Easter/Sweet Treats challenge, aha the perfect opportunity to use my new Hoppy Easter digi kit from The Greeting Farm. The only items not from the kit are the stripy backing paper which is from Kaisers Candy Lane collection and the orange base card. The little bunny girl has been coloured with copics, cut out and stuck on with foam dots. The Easter eggs and basket have just been printed out and cut out. I love this digi set it's so happy and cheerful.

Wags and Whiskers have a CAS challenge going, and I'm a CAS girl so I thought I'd put an entry in. I've stamped 'Sip n Sun' twice coloured in Copic markers and popped up the whole image just on a white background cut into shape with a spell binders label. I've matted this onto a piece of green card stock also cut with spell binders, then matted onto pink martini paper which is on a green base card. I've added a rub on sentiment and a gem to symbolise an olive.

80s Style

Loves Rubber Stamps have set a rad challenge this week by making it an 80s theme. I loved the eighties, yes the leg Warmers  and shoulder pads but most of all the music....Duran Duran, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper etc etc. Anyway I looked through my stash and couldn't find anything that I thought screamed 80's so I went online to CC Designs and found the coolest digi stamp that fitted exactly what I had in my mind. I found 80's Sookie ! So I bought her and coloured in Copic markers. My papers are from Kaisers Candy Lane Collection (I love the bright colours in this collection). I've added some beaded trim, from my local craft store, a couple of gems and a heart paper clip.

Happy Birthday

Kraftin Kimmie have a Happy Birthday challenge, I'm rapt as the more birthday cards that I have in my stash the better. I'm pretty chuffed at how this one turned out, it's bright and cheerful. I've stamped Kraftin Kimmies 'Lisette' and coloured her with Copic markers. I've mounted her onto pink card stock then onto balloon paper that I cut into 3 panels. The balloon paper is mounted onto careen card stock which is on a cream base card. I've stamped a happy birthday sentiment added some gems and a pink glittery ribbon, and die cut some bunting out of glitter paper:D

Paper Smooches ala Andy Warhol

Paper Smooches has an Anything Goes challenge, so I decided to go for a pop art style with the Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies set. I cut 4 different coloured squares which I cut with my spell binders, and heat embossed with a different coloured embossing powder for each square. I then embossed on some more coloured card and fussy cut each bird buddy out then sticking different coloured birds on to different coloured squares. I popped each square up with foam tape. Stamped the Happy Bird Day sentiment and added a sequin. This project makes me smile.

I've fussy cut her out and popped her up with foam dots and stuck her onto some groovy flower power/peace paper I've had in my stash for ages. The sentiment is written using peek off lettering, I've added some twine and a paper flower. I've matted onto blue card then onto a green base card.

I just love Kraftin Kimmies Florence stamp. In this project I have stamped here and coloured her with Copic markers. I've then fussy cut her out and popped her up with foam dots on to a Project Life journal card that looks like a postcard. I've used another Kraftin Kimmie stamp..... Miles the Mouse ! I've used a punch to make him into a faux postage stamp he has also been popped up. I've stamped some lips and a sun as embellishments and matted onto red card. I've used a blue base card. I think that this will make a good vacation card or miss you card.

Girlfriends

My favourite technique in conjunction with stamping, is giving my work dimension. I do this by popping up my images with foam dots or foam double sided tape. I want the popped up image to be the focal point - to stand out! This friendship card is no exception. I've stamped the Girlfriends stamp from ART IMPRESSIONS twice, and coloured with Copic markers. I've popped the whole image up then popped the front girl up again. I've used papers from Kaiser's Candy Lane Collection and a star and tab from various Kaiser Collectables. I've die cut a Polaroid frame out of silver glitter card and added some bling.

Warm Wishes

Both High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper have Anything Gies Challenges, so I've made this card to enter. I've used Wade the Dragon stamp from High Hopes. I've coloured him with Copic marker and as my usual I have given him some dimension on popped him up with foam dots. I've used Kaiser papers and the palm tree is a Kaiser collectables. I've made a sun from corrugated card. I've stamped a warm wishes sentiment and added some twine and gems. I'm happy with my colouring in this card, slowly I'm getting a better handle on Copic markes, there's plenty of room for improvement though.

Paper Smooches Anything Goes

Get well cards are always handy to have in my card stash so I thought the Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge would be a great opportunity to make one. I have used 3 different Paper Smooches products on this card. The heart beat was made from red glitter card and WISE DIES. The sentiment is from FIRST AID KIT stamp set and the clip is from CLIPBOARD stamp set. My base card is Kraft card stock then I've matted some graph paper on top. The clip was stamped onto a brushed silver card.

Here's a thank you card using Kraftin Kimmies Lilybelle. Hopefully the papers I've chosen have given this card a spring feel. I've coloured Lilybelle with Copic markers, and for the first time I've experimented with Frantage, I didn't want to go overboard with it but could have probably put more on than what I did, I was worried about getting it everywhere. I've used a pink base card and used papers from Kaisers Candy Lane Collection. I've added some paper lace, felt flowers and a ladybug sticker.

I've then put this onto a white base card.

I've used a blue base card then added some matts using Kaiser journal cards and green card stock. I have machine STITCHED around both journal cards and added 2 separate STITCHES in blue floss. Here's a little card that I made using the fun Art Impressions 'Beach Booty' set. I thought she would make a cute 'Bon voyage' card. I stamped her and coloured her with Copic markers and fussy cut her out. I used a red base card, then used a water theme paper and then put a postcard that I got from a packet of vintage scrappy chic ephemera on top. I cut a hole through all these layers to make it look like this beach babe was coming through the card. I added a couple of tickets that I found in my stash and stamped Bon voyage on them and stapled them to the card.
