Valentines Showcase

Over at Rick St Dennis's Sparkle and Glitter blog there is some amazing Valentines creations. For my project Ive used the really pretty and romantic Basket of Love digital stamp. Ive started with a red square base card and then matted it in gold mirri card. Ive coloured the basket of love with copic markers and fussy cut it out......it took awhile to cut out but it was worth it. I stuck my image on to a cream glittery card with foam tape and drew a black border around it. I die cut the word love with red mirri card and placed that at the top of the card.
The copic marker colours that I used are: R32,R35,R37,G21,G28,E11,E13,E15,R22,R24,E18,Y21,Y23,R27,B21,B24.

My Knight in Shinning Armour

This is a Valentine's card that I have made using a Rick St Dennis image called Knight for Sue. I love fairytales and that was my inspiration for this card. Ive coloured my Knight with copic markers and then fussy cut him out. Ive popped him up with foam tape onto a heart that I die cut and embossed out of red mirri card. I started with a red card blank then matted in silver mirri card followed by a paper from the new Kaiser collection XO. The sentiment is from the same Kaiser paper pad.
The copic Markers that I used are C1,C3,C5,E31,E35,Y23,Y38,B14,B18,R22,R24,R27,R29,E000,E00,E02

You're HOT STUFF Baby

Today I'm sharing a card using Rick St Dennis MFA's digi Lil Devil. When I saw this digi all I could think of was that song HOT STUFF by Donna Summer! Hence the wording on the chalk board speech bubble! Ive coloured Lil Devil in with copic markers and then die cut it with a circle spellbinders and popped the whole circle up with foam tape. I started with a red card blank then matted it with paper that I've had for ages from Scrapbooking memories. Ive then cut a strip of red card then purple card and placed a fiery sticker on by Scrapbooking memories. Ive added a chalkboard speech bubble and written in my sentiment. To finish off I have added some red gems.
The copic markers that I used for this project are: V12,V15,V17,E000,E00,E02,R02,R32,R35,R37,Y00

You're Nerd-Tastic

Today I am sharing The Amy Doodle Stamp Company digi stamp Nerdy Girl. She is such a cutie and comes with some super cute verses. Ive made a card that could either be for Back To School (which it is for kids in Queensland Australia next week) or it could be a Valentines card. To make my card I coloured Nerdy Girl with copic markers and then fussy cut her out and popped her up with foam tape. I started with a square red card blank then matted it in blue and then in a paper from Kaisers new XO collection. I cut a heart from black card and added my sentiment with white rub on lettering. For embellishments I added a red paper clip and some blue gems.
the copic markers that I used are : E000,E00,E02,R20,R32,R35,R37,C1,C3,B12,B14,B18,E31,E51,E35

Thinking of Ewe

This week over at Amy Doodle Stamp Co we are doing an anything goes week for the DT. I've chosen Sassy Sheep. I love the look on Sassy's face. I wanted to make this card also for Karen who is in the Amy Doodle design team too as she has been ill. I love all the girls in the Amy Doodle team <3
To make this card I printed Sassy out twice, I coloured her with copic markers and used my animal class lessons with Kit and Clowder to colour her Im rapt with how fluffy and cute she looks {thanks so much Alyce Keegan}. I cut Sassy out of the first one I coloured and popped her up with double sided foam tape and then on my second one I just cut out Sassy's head  so I could pop that up too. I started with an orange base card, then I used papers from Kaiser. First a gingham one and then a tree one from their Farm collection. For embellishments I used Kaiser cut outs. I also die cut a speech bubble and with black peel off lettering I made the sentiment.
The copic colours that I used are: B60,C1,C3,C5,E33,E37

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! For the progressive challenge over at Rick St Dennis's Sparkle and Glitter blog I chose to use Helen's January Mouse as my project. As usual I have gone with a clean and simple layout. I started with a yellowy orangey base card then matted it in red. I then found some firework paper from a little pad by Cre8tive. I printed the January mouse out twice so I had the background and could pop the mouse up. The only embellishment that I added was some glitter numbers for the year 2015.
Here are the colours that I used in copic markers: R11,C1,C3,C5,R32,R35,R37,B14,B16,Y02,Y08,Y000,B000,Y35,Y38

A Groovy Kind of Love

Im really digging the new Karleigh Sue Designs. For this card I used the fab digi Hippie Love.
I was born in 1965 during the Hippie era, I love tie dye and the music of the 60's so this is why this image really is far out for me! Ive coloured Hippie Love in copic markers and then fussy cut her out and popped her up with double sided foam tape. The background paper is from a paper fun pack from ME etc called Flower Power. I wrote my sentiment in glittery peel of stickers, its the name of a Simon and Garfunkle song that my husband and I love. I used a purple base card  then matted in blue and then in orange
