Hi there owl

I'm having a go at this months Paper Smooches Sketch Challenge. I've used a yellow base card and then layered some starry paper that I had in my stash. I die cut some yellow card to represent a moon and then used one of the Paper Smooches border dies to cut some purple card into a hill/curved shape like in the sketch. I used Paper Smooches Hooties stamp stamp set, I stamped them and coloured in Copic markers. I embossed the hi word from the same set in orange and added some pearls to finish off.

Welcome Baby

I know a few girls having babies so I thought that I'd start making a couple of baby cards ready. I've used the really cute digi image Pram Baby Baby from Ladybug Crafts Ink to make this card. I've coloured this image with Copic markers and cut it out using spellbinders labels. I've used a combination of pale pink card stock and a paper that has the words 'oh so sweet' on it. I've embellished with pink satin ribbon, a pink safety pin and som mini buttons. I've stamped a sentiment saying 'welcome baby'.

Birthday Blast

High Hopes have a Double Trouble challenge this week, so I thought I'd make a boys birthday card which is always handy to have in my card stash. I've used the High Hopes stamps Chuck and UFO to create a little space scene. The sentiment, planet and moonscape are all freebies from a magazine. The star paper was something I found in my paper stash and I've added some blue bakers twine. I've coloured Chuck and the UFO with distress markers on watercolour paper.

Wish Big

Celestina  is one of my most recent purchases from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, I've stamped her and coloured her with Copic markers, purple is my favourite colour so that's what I chose for her gown. I'm quite happy with my colouring especially her hair. I've fussy cut Celestina  out and popped her up with foam dots. I've placed her on a die cut silver glitter star and then put her and the star on some starry paper from Cre8tive. I've finished off by placing a star shaped gem in her hand, and by adding a silver thread with a sentiment stamped in purple saying Wish Big. I guess you could say this is a CAS card, but I didn't want to overdo things seeing the background paper is so busy.

Say Cheesecake

Art Impressions have a Best Friends Challenge, so I've used one of their Girlfriends stamps. The girls are clicking away on their camera creating memories. I thought it would be fun to use a postcard paper that I got as a gift with a papercraft magazine as the backdrop. I've added some fun sentiments from Kaisers collectables and die cut some glittery stars to symbolise the camera flashing. I've stamped the girls twice and coloured them with Copic markers and popped them up with foam dots, I love dimension in my projects :D

Happy Bird Day Wine Tag

This week Paper Smooches have a Picture Perfect challenge, so I've done something a bit different and made a wine bottle tag, in the shape of a bunting flag.  The Paper Smooches stamp sets I've used are Birthday Buddies and Off The Charts. I've started with a red card stock base and the matted that with some sky and clouds paper from Kaisers Save the Date paper pad. I've made a vellum speech bubble and stamped Happy Bird Day on it. I've stamped the bird from Birthday Buddies coloured him with Copic markers and popped him up with foam dots. I made the bunting by stamping a couple of the shapes from Off the Charts in different coloured ink then I cut each piece out and stuck them onto my project with tiny foam dots. I've punched a circle so that the tag will fit over the neck of a bottle.

Thank you

Thank you cards never go astray in my stash, so I've made one using Kraftin Kimmies Tinkerbell. I've stamped her and coloured her in with copic markers. Then cut a fancy frame using spell binders. My papers are from Kaisers Porcelain Rose Collection. I've added some lace, a fancy corner, some paper flowers and a thank you sentiment.
